When I want a hot winter drink that doesn’t negate my morning workout, I whip up this lemon, ginger and mint tea that I had in Germany last Christmas.
It’s SO good – and good for you!
I now make this all the time at home, all through the winter months, morning, afternoon, and evening.
It’s one of my favorite hot drinks for winter because it warms me up and it’s refreshing.
If you like lemon, ginger and mint, try this delicious herbal tea drink. You can add honey if you want a little sweetness or you can leave out the mint if you prefer.

#16 – London Fog Tea
London Fog tea is another hot winter drink I enjoy on the regular.
Actually, in my opinion, it’s one of the best tea drinks around!
London Fog is one of Starbucks’ famous winter drinks but I think it’s way better made at home (not to mention cheaper and healthier).
London Fog is a rich and luxurious winter warmer drink that can be made with or without sugar (when I do sprinkle in a little sugar I use homemade vanilla bean sugar — so good).
I make my London Fog with cow’s milk but you can use whatever type of “milk” you prefer. I’ve heard coconut milk is an especially good choice.

#18 – Creamy Coconut Hot Chocolate from Num’s the Word
#19 – Salted Caramel Apple Cider from Our Family World
#20 – Egg Nog Latte
It’s just not the winter holiday season without an egg nog latte!
I used to buy egg nog lattes at Starbucks, then I bought egg nog at the grocery store and made lattes at home.
Now? I made both my egg nog and egg nog lattes from scratch at home – both are so easy to make.
Whether you want to make an egg nog latte or just homemade egg nog, you’ll love my simple homemade recipe. You only need a few basic ingredients and about 10 minutes.

Bonus #20: Dutch Fresh Mint Tea
I drink this tea whenever I’m in the Netherlands and make it at home in the US all winter long.
All you need is fresh mint and hot water. That’s it!
If you want to sweeten it up, add a bit of honey.
So simple, so delicious, not to mention healthy. This simple tea is perfect any time of day or night.
